Verse Art

One morning after my husband had a very serious conversation with me, I began working on a Word Art that I hope to someday transfer to one of our bedroom walls. It will serve as a constant reminder to me of that late-night discussion. :)

However... I am quite clueless as to how I should proceed on this project. Would cut-out cardstock stuck on the wall appear tacky?

Let me just say: while something like a print transfer on wood or canvas can totally hang on its own, nothing dresses up paper like a good frame (and frames are to be had for nearly nothing at Goodwills and such!).

Frame your cardstock!

Or frame your paper!

Or use an iron-on transfer to put your image on cloth or pillows or clothing!

Or transfer said image to cloth and then frame that!

The possibilities are endless. And actually the only real problem with sticking the cardstock itself to the wall is that the plain cardstock may last for less long than will the framed or otherwise protected cardstock.

Also: I love playing with fonts! My favorite font site is http://www.dafont.com/top.php

Cheers!

I think if you just put that in a frame with maybe a boarder (UG... what are those things called... those little colored things around pictures...*mental blankness persists*) in a blending color with the room you're putting it in, and it'd be beautiful... just like that!
